For the last few weeks a lot of things have been happening which I could?ve taken advantage of to make some money, or traffic. It was the Joe Biden nomination, Sarah Palin nomination, Hurricane Hanna and Gustav, Shawn Hogan of Digitalpoint being sued for being a hypocrite, and now Google Chrome hype. I had this idea, for quick traffic or money. Maybe some newbies could try it out? I don?t see why it wouldn?t work, or why it wouldn?t be successful at the least.

If you sit on the computer and/or have you television turned on next to you, watching the news, when the news break you could run online and:

Grab a co.cc domain, it?s free, or purchase an available domain. I grabbed SarahPalin.co.cc

Setup an adword CPA campaign.

Open Windows Paint and write ?Visit SarahPalin.co.cc and read about her nomination, *insert something here that would get them curious*.

Upload the picture to FlickR (for a good example) titled ?Sarah Palin Nominated as Republican Vice President? (for keyword richness).

Post a link to your FlickR uploaded picture URL from Digg (for a good example) and other social networks and bookmarking sites.

Both Digg and FlickR are high PR, popular and respected sites. You could use these two to get traffic via a picture.

Setup a site on SarahPaline.co.cc with an article written by you, or a copied article (why would it matter)? Throw adsense or a CPA ad in there too!

Let Google Quickly crawl Digg, let the diggers dig your story, and let them quickly crawl FlickR and your picture rank high.

You earn money!

In theory, I suppose it would work? Anyway, I hope people could use this idea. ?Picture Ranking and Traffic?. If would be fun money! :D

Current events are a great way to make money. You can get cheap Adwords clicks, among other things, if you are on the ball.

Big news anniversary dates are also good, in that you know about them ahead of time, and thus plan a web campaign around ahead of time. This November is the 45th anniverasry of the Kennedy assassination, next year the 40th anniverasries of Woodstock and the moon landing, the 25th anniversary of Nixon's resignation, the 10th anniversary of Clinton's impeachment trial, etc. Pick what you think is the best event to capitalize on, and have a ball.

Here?s something someone could use ?

?In an attempt at counter-programming John McCain's nomination acceptance speech, Barack Obama has agreed to appear tomorrow on The O'Reilly Factor, a popular programme on Rupert Murdoch's Fox News channel.

The Obama interview comes after months of behind-the-scenes peacemaking between the candidate and the Fox News chief Roger Ailes -- talks brokered by Murdoch himself. Widespread Democratic concern over the Murdoch channel's conservative slant had fuelled a de facto boycott of Fox News by the Obama camp.? - Wednesday September 03 2008 14:03 BST

- he?s going one-on-one with Bill O? Reilly O_O ?
