thank you sooo much! What else do you do besides this as other streams of income?
Good for starters. Nice method!
90% of group boards allow all members to invite to a board. The default is to let any member invite another, however there is an option for the owner to check allowing only them to invite others. Sadly lots of the big ones are like this and you need to jump through hoops to get an invite or wait ages. Smaller more niche topics have smaller boards and they do give better traffic.
Lol when they say someone has their fingers in a lot of pies, well that's the case here. I have several streams of income online, many from affiliate marketing that i dd the work on years ago that pay off big now and allow me to pursue other projects and travel. I also sell products online on various marketplaces. I do some FBA, lost of etsy etc.
got it, do you recommend having your own board or dont?
I 100% recommend growing your own. In the beginning you can survive on other peoples boards while yours grow.
thanks for being here replying to all these questions.
Interesting, Would you suggest purchasing some fiverr gigs to promote some affiliate links? I was searching on fiverr and found a few gigs. I just don't see any reviews on these, whether or not the boards are filled with bot accounts or not as well is worrying me. I was thinking about giving it a shot. @William702
hi, can i pin to your board "name of board"?
I really didnt get this whole platform until now, this thread answered almost every question I had about pinterest. Thank you for sharing your knoweledge. And I have a few questions; do you use any bot to automate things? What is the repin limit/day? How much account / proxy?
My pleasure. I have been stuck to my screen for the last few days reading BHW posts about 5 - 6 hours a day. So many clever people talking about things I have no idea about which is exciting!
I hate to say it but 95% of the stuff on Fiverr is not even worth the 5 bucks. But there are a few gems. shout outs are good. If you're looking to jazz something up with nice designs and don't have the time its a good place as well as for voice overs to make something professional. I suggest those who have less than perfect English to use some of the gigs there to get people to re-write your ad or gig for a better conversion rate.
Do you want my pin to my credit card too lol only kidding mate and its a valid question but maybe down the road I will have some invites I can hand out but as of right now I am just sharing a method that others can take as they wish and be creative with. There is some hard work to do in the beginning.
Really happy you were able to get answers to some questions. If you ever want to send me a PM feel free to hit me up. There is an app I use right now and full disclosure I am an affiliate of that company. not like their other affiliates though I have private (dont look like aff link links) some places as we all know are funny about aff links so i go out and contact a company directly and tell them of my resources that i can use to drive thousands of clicks a week/day to their page or to an aff link as long as it does not look like a usual aff link, they usually build a small landing page just for me to track it or give me a simple domain like www.theirname,com/somepromotionalword blah blah blah. That way I also get to know the people behind the app or product pretty well and they take me serious and get back to me when I message them. I mention this because the relationship is new and I am still learning about the product myself. I don't want to share it here until I know I can and more importantly if it works well. Just also thought I would slip in there the method I use to get post-able aff links to products so it looks like just a link I am sharing as opposed to blatant aff marketing to get around the TOS of some sites.
On the app in question I have six accounts set up. Because I am an affiliate they hooked me up with a free premium account, usually $15 each, i'm sure they would add loads if i asked but I don't like to take the P##S They offer other packages too ranging upwards of %800 a month for heavy volume so the capacity is there. I have NO idea how to use proxies, never have. I have not had a problem with any of my accounts but then again I don't take the P##S with those either so I have never really had any problems. Downside is that right now there is a bottle neck on the app where if you have more than a few thousand pins set up at any one time it causes problems. So with 6 accounts able to post up to 100 pins a day. (I stick to around 80) a 3k or 4k limit is used up in a matter of days. So its not like you can set up posts to run for a month. more like 4 - 7 days depending on the amount of accounts and pins each day.
I have not even used it since the 4 day test I did with it about 6 months ago. all I can say is the results are amazing, if i had been pinning every day for those 6 months the traffic would be insane right now, it gets tens of thousands of impressions a day 6 months on from a few pins going out 6 months ago for 4 days so you do the math. I will get the time soon to set it up properly with some good products if I can find any because I have all this wasted capacity. monetizing that traffic and making turn into clicks is another matter altogether. I don't know if these limits are because of the app. I do know that using pinterest on the website it seems the limits are lower but I cannot confirm that.
So it's $15 a month for each account so $90 for the 6 accounts, don't want someone working that out based on $15 and not $90 and I meant $800 a month not 800%
& Get $5
Earn $5 for every friend
that buys on Fiverr
How do you get 15-50$ comission + how do you hardcode the referral link in your offer?
I tried to put together my offer link + my referral code before but that just leads me to a 404 page.
Also its just shopping credit, you can not withdraw the referral revenue.
I sold things on fiverr in the past (shoutouts and group board access), some things here dont add up and seem exagerated but i just setup some testcampaigns, will report back.
No not quite, it has nothing to do with friends or getting exactly $5 for every friend. It's about selling invites to business owners who want to pin to a specific board. it all depends on the niche you cover. you could charge $20 for an invite if you can find someone who will pay it or you might have to sell 5 invites for $5 getting just $1 its up to the person selling the invites.
Not sure if you are assuming i mean the invite friends thing on fiverr, i am not. I am referring to their affiliate program. if you don't know about it go and check it out.
If you are having issues creating an affiliate link or generating a deep link to a specific gig then speak to your affiliate manager, i assume every affiliate has an affiliate manager with fiverr. its really simple., but i guess only if you know how.
You sold things in the past? cool, not sure what that has to do with this. If your experience with fiverr was not a profitable one it does not mean that its the same way for others. Suggesting that exaggerations have been made is a bit out of order seeing as you PM'd me asking for help being all nice and asking me to share my knowledge to which i replied positively and you never replied back. instead you cam here and made this post, this is the thing that seems odd to me lol. I'm sure everyone is dying to see your report
Dont get me wrong william but all the guerilla marketing sale threads here made me quite oversensitive to such things on bhw.
I know how your revenuestream works i just thought you are refering to the fiverr partnerprogramm, i just found their affiliate program and now this cleared up -> https://www.fiverr.com/affiliate_program
Yes around 18 Months ago ive sold a few houndred bucks worth of shoutouts on fiverr and like 2-3 group board bundles, i understand that you got offended and in hindsight i clearly could have posted this different.
I take full responsibility for this misunderstanding, i didnt had any bad intentions, just wanted to make clear how you use the referal link on directlinks to generate additional revenue (what didnt made sense to me at this point because i thought you speak about the 5$ shopping credit referal programm).
PS: ive setup 2 campaigns and cold mailed 50 related businesses with a business proposal letter, curious if there will be a conversion.
lol no worries man, its all good, I should have brushed it off. you did say that an algorithm change screwed you a year ago and your system that you had so I would be pissed too
Thank you for a great share.
How do you ask for invites to the boards? Just private messages to board owner account?
Read the thread?
Thanks for the share, I will try this first thing in the morning.
I am a member of some 30-40k groups on pinterest, and did some tests to see how well it converts, 2 highly targeted pins later, a handful of clicks and zero conversions I just gave up on it.
Time to go back to it and test the waters once more...
One question, do you have many returning customers? What do you think is the sweet spot for members on the groups? 1-10k?
i started my new account for womans for amazon affiliate. i think this metod will help me grow my boards.
I guess you reveal this method, cos pinterest change everything and its very hard to complete with others. I am right ?
