So much for "faking the referrer" @_o
Hypothetically used CPA Redirector 2
Maybe your setup for the redirector was incorrect? Random guess?? That can't be possible.
not sure what method you used to fake referrer, but be careful when faking referrer. you really need to have a page in place that looks legit. I always have a php page in place. that looks like a standard html page. it is relatively easy for an AM even the stupid ones peerfly employs to go have a look at a log file report and try going to the page in question. If they get redirected or the page looks suspicious they will just terminate your account just before payout day anyway.
I will usually have a meta refresh redirect from one domain to another and then the index.php will only redirect people that come from the first domain. anyone else that goes to that page will get a normal looking site.
I think they shave like a bitch, my site's doing almost 10k UVs a day and only made 60$ with them a day. =\
Much respect for "Oh shit... how did you know? =X"
hahahahaha that's classic
Thanks and rep given as small consolation for your loss.
Tomorrow - back on the horse, hundreds more networks out there.
Good luck, mate!
Next time filter your networks ip's and every 3rd or fourth visitor to a standard landing page.... you'll lose a few buck's.....
but hey... half a doughnut is better than NO doughnut....
hahaha, he made it even more epic, when that guy said "just random guess"...as you just admitted by "oh shit..how did you know.." =)) anyway, that made me laugh a bit, considering I am also very fustrated right now... I support you OP
Don't worry bro, CJ banned me about 3 days before a ~$6000 payment. Just release your anger, and know that tomorrow will be another day.
as an aside Corey was my am at peerfly. I dont really use them anymore so I haven't talked to him in ages. My impression is that he is quite stupid. So for him to catch you, you must have been doing something very wrong.
they become #2 by purchasing lots of ads and getting paid reviews...
They told you that they found out you were using a content locker with their offers after you made $x,xxx amount of money, and you didn't try to pursuade them that you either didn't use it or were just testing it out and realized it wasn't allowed? I feel you would be able to get away with that quite easily as I have done similar things in the past.
That's incorrect. We've never paid for reviews and we've purchased very few ads ourselves. We became what we are today through word of mouth from legitimate publishers. Anyways, the post you're quoting from 247hustle was removed by him because it was false.
Gotta love the fact that we have a Peer Fly AM discussing a thread on a blackhat forum!!!!
Oh the irony....
I can understand how that random guess is made now. Howdy Corey?
To be honest, I got the feeling he was being sarcastic =X.
I'm not an AM with PeerFly (I handle compliance) and there's a few network representatives on this forum. For example:
Jeremy from Adscend Media
Steve from MaxBounty
Vito from *******
What guy was this? We do not terminate publishers for no reason and there's always two sides to a story.
It was a joke, calm down. He was using a content gateway. We don't make random guesses when we terminate publishers but we're of course not going to tell a fraudulent publisher how we caught him. Legitimate publishers have no problems with getting paid by us.
Well my techniqe for faking the refferer or even blanking it is to make the link non clickable and under the link I put this ( If the link isn't clickable, copy it to your browser becouse it the browser foult.) It works every time and I even get higher conversions becouse it's a psychological trick which make people put some effort in going to the next site But to explain the psychological side of investment I would need to put toghter a new thread
