Hey Guys,

Hope you all are doing well.

Some of you here might know from my previous journeys and tutorials that I run a digital agency providing a number of services worldwide.

I previously scaled the agency to 5 figure income per year and my team and I are doing all the efforts to scale it to 6 figure income in profits soon.

So, every day we are trying new strategies and techniques to bring in new clients.

Cutting it short, this month, one of my employees, Sara, came up with this idea of going across the online recruitment boards and job portals in various cities (tried in two countries so far).

So what she did was looking about the job openings posted by various companies on those boards.

She made a list of jobs which revolved around the services we provide along with the company name and location.

After that, she collected the contact details of those companies (including phone numbers and emails).

This month, our team reached out to 78 companies in 9 cities spanning across 2 countries.

And we crazily signed up 4 companies already which would be paying us $2500 each for managing their social media including creating and curating content.

After cutting the costs, I am managing to save around $1400 each in profits.

This is a unique but very easy method that has brought me in really good rewards.

We are now scaling this method as I write this thread.

So stop waiting and take action now and bank hard!

Feel free to post your queries below and I would be glad to answer!

1.One needs to build a a good reputation in localty of choice to easily nail clients?
2. I believe they are looking for a physical representative - Do you have to send Sara down for a meetup ?
3.How do you convince them your company can take up the task compared to day in day out employee needed in the company ?

By job portals you mean like upwork?

Local job directories like Indeed.

So you pitched them your services instead of they hiring a candidate is that right?

Great share, I love to hear about people scaling their enterprises. Don't wait on good times, put the effort required to make good times

There’s lots more things you can do with this, and not just online job postings. Untapped niche of leads ;)

Bravo OP

To build trust factor you may offer them 15 days trial if you are confident that choosing your company is better than hiring an employee for their job. They will opt for it and will surely stick with you.

You son of a bitch.

That’s genius. Give Sara a raise.
Haha already did. She is one of my brightest employees. And damn creative too!

No, those places are heavily crowded with freelancers.

By job portals, I mean places like Craiglist for jobs.

1. I have clients from 13 countries in the world at the moment and I don't have a physical office. So no it's not necessary.
2. No, most of the businesses are now okay with video calls over Skype or even simple telephonic calls.
3. We have a high converting sales pitch for the emails which have been tested over hundreds and thousands of emails we have sent so far.

Yes we pitched them our services along with our portfolio.

What we usually do is we offer a bonus incentive for the first month but they pay for the main services. Let's say they are paying us for social media managent, we offer them a month-free trial of running PPC ads for them (they pay the ad expenses).
By the end of the month, if they get impressed by our results on PPC ads, then we sign up them for that service too and our $2500 deal multiplies to $5000 or more per month.

These should come after the first month working with them ? I’m referring to the incentive part.

what’s your take on visiting the business ? Better conversion ?

I am on the same path as you, how do you structure what you will be doing for them?

And also, on your agency site do you show the services you provide or have them contact you.

Thanks for sharing! Hopefully gonna do something similar.

Personally, visiting businesses is feasible if you are targeting the local businessis in your area or locality only.

I am working with companies which are not near my location.

Both ways, it works!

On the job boards, you can see the job posting and requirement details.

They even post their budget on many of them.

So just create a super cool proposal. Pitch first via email and then send the proposal.

All my services are listed on the agency site without pricing.

Hahaha!
Just FYI: Anyone looking to automate this—Phantombuster has an API that scrapes data from Craigslist.
TBH Craiglist is full of junk. There are so many more gold job boards.

That's awesome
Thank you!
Sara deserves promotion ❤️
Yes I already did and gave her more incentives!

What crms are you using to manage your clients?

Starting out, how did you show your capability if you didnt have a portfolio or list of clients?

We are using an in-house built CRM for managing the clients. Everything is centrally managed by my team.

When I was starting out, I offered free 7-15 day trials.

For Social Media Marketing Agency, it is more easier as you can design and curate demo content for social media as your portfolio.

However, it doesn't usually work for PPC and SEO services unless you have proper case studies so offering free trial of your services is your best bet.
