Hello to the BHW community and thanks for visiting my post. I've been in to SEO & IM for quite a few years and since my start has predominantly been my main focus and work. When it comes to business though and being successful, I think it's important to diversify your investments and work and I don't believe that it's ever a good idea to have all of your eggs in one basket. Almost three months ago now, I was thinking of other businesses that I could start and one that ran across my mind was the "Limousine" business. Operating a limo transportation service is an easy to run business that requires little start up costs while yielding high profit margins. So, what I did was I went on line and found that there were tons of limousines available at great prices and ended up winning a limo on an auction for $6,700. It's a little bit of an old limo but it's a nice Lincoln stretch limo, very clean and a near perfect paint job. Once acquired, I found a small office down the street from my home that the owner was only wanting $500 per month for, I moved in to the location for $1,000 and within a week had a fully operating limousine service running, vehicle, office, registration and all! So, as I mentioned I've had this now for right about 10 weeks which is how long I've had it in service and so far it has done really well. I'm currently charging $75 per hour with a 3 hour minimum which means if I take someone to a concert and I have to sit in the parking lot in the limo waiting for the event to be over, I'm making $75 per hour just for sitting. To date, the company has booked 38 appointments and has grossed $14,160 ($4,700 Per Month Average). Most of the appointments and calls that I get are for groups going to clubs/events or for weddings. I know the end of the school year is coming up with prom and I'm thinking of purchasing a second limo as I know there's going to be a ton of phone calls coming in. Another thing I'm considering is hiring a dedicated driver, SEO/IM consumes a lot of my time so getting appointments actually inconvenients me even though it's making me money. A dedicated driver will free up a lot of my time and I'll still be able to properly manage the business. Thanks again for reading my post. I just wanted to share the success that I've had with everyone and maybe it'll spark some ideas for those here! Feel free to comment below with your thoughts, I'd love to hear what you have to say!
