There are many services for email marketing. Me, personally, I'm using a server with an in-house built software.

Scrape leads and pitch a content marketing service to the doctors. It's an in -demand service.

Post your results here if you give it a try (?). :)

This is an awesome post and you also inspired me to join vip. Question do you pitch as a firm or freelance? Do you just finish the deal with only email? Im going to run Gmass on this and see what happens as well! I can scrape thousands with my scraper!

How do you collect your money and do you send them a contract?

Hi. Maybe its the states I selected, but I didn't find much email addresses for doctors. So I stumbled upon a dentist directory and I was picking up leads like grocery on a shelf.

So far I've sent around 50 emails. No sale. Not even an enquiry.

Here's what the mails looks like. I start with a personalised greeting. I complement their websites. I write something about how their website can bring in more patients (this is the whole point right?)

I proceed to briefly describing how I'll make their website rank high on Google. Thus, putting them in front of potential patients within their states.

I conclude by encouraging them to reach out so we can discuss about their needs. No mention of price. Basically that's it.

Any tip? Or should I have stayed on doctors? I know 50 isn't a big deal, but it'll be in the minimum encouraging to get an enquiry.

Oh and my subject line was just four words structure in a question form

I pitch myself as an independent freelancer that SPECIALIZES in their niche (an expert in their field).

As a freelancer I feel as if customers expect a more personalized and one-on-one experience. Many would rather hire a PERSON rather then an AGENCY.

I invoice clients through PayPal (although there was one that requested to pay using BTC, surprisingly).

    1. Thanks for all the content, Question do you reach out first via EMAIL? or you call them? My method would be I have a personal scraper I sell that can scrape any page with amazing accuracy Im going to scrape yellow pages, Linkedin and Zoc doc. then email blasts them all with a spintext on their name and have virtual assistants call them after!

What do you think I should do or how I should go about it obviously no spoon-feeding here I just want to put some of the glue in the middle of this puzzle to make it stick loL!

THANKS AGAIN! also is JR V.I.P really worth it?! how long after payment to have that sexy badge? also I want to share my road thus far with all my peers here so I think it would be better to voice with the badge.

If you are interested in checking out the scraper in action just ask! its by @dreadpixel

Cause frankly I dont see where phone or emails are besides just their addresses do you do googling cross-search with addresses?

Only just found this, good share @ContentExpert !

Went through the pages, crazy the amount of bullshit people will come up with so they wouldn’t need to actually go out and try something for themselves lol.

What do you need updated? This thread is 2 months old..?

I get the idea but tried something similar before. Doctors are a challenge because if they're straightforward enough, they will say they get their clients through some other network like insurance or government. That means the marketing to provide is like a drop in the bucket. Heed due diligence on niche.

Hey op, great post and thank you for sharing this! I am from another country, which, due to regulations for the doctors/medicines, content needs to be approved by government bodies before it can go online. To some certain extend, we can't even buy ads on Google.

    Question:
    1. When it comes to content, most of the time, would be disease base or the doctor/clinic/product? Do you propose the contents to them or they dictate the directions?
    2. I'm new to this and have basically lurked around BHW to pick up skills here and there. Being someone without any portfolio, how do you convince someone to buy from you?

Thanks for the answers in advance!

    Excellent post, @ContentExpert!

I'm much interested in trying out this method. Yep, it's time consuming. But if done properly and with patience, it could be a goldmine.

I'm from a 3rd world country and our healthcare system isn't so appalling. I tried Google to see if I could get any directory on it, the results weren't so good. I was able to get few clinics (individual doctors were not listed) in the major cities.

    Please I have some questions.

    1. Can this be done remotely? I'm thinking of foreign leads as against local ones.

    2. How do I provide social proof and samples?
I plan to pitch them on content writing and SEO for their websites. Currently, I'm taking a paid writing course and would love to start writing big time. But how do I convince them about my writing service when I haven't done any gig in the healthcare field before?

    3. Are there free email system one can use to track the opening rate? Since budget is almost zero, only free/trial versions should be used.

I believe I'll learn along and can even outsource the service. I'll be waiting for your email template.

Thanks very much for sharing this. It's straightforward, simple and cost-free. Only thing involved is TIME and some commitment, too.

    1. Yes, you're not limited to servicing only local-based healthcare professionals. This is IM, you can reach and offer services to international clients.

    2. For this, the only thing I can tell you is to find some healthcare articles online, rewrite them to familiarize yourself with some of the medical terminology/phrases, and begin to develop a portfolio for client review.

    3. This, I'm unsure of. For email marketing, I used an in-house developing mailing system running on a private server. Ask this question in the lounge, I'm sure someone will help to point you in the right direction.

    For example:
    • Increase your admission rates
    • Fill your beds (if you're targeting a rehab)
    • Scale inbound patient leads
    and so on...

Not medical terminology so much as it is commonly used phrases within the industry that healthcare professionals want to here.
