I did a test buying Fiverr testimonial videos, posting on Youtube, driving traffic to my landing page, and increasing revenue. It was highly effective in terms of money spent, time spent, and resulting revenue. And in future I'll be getting passive income from this too for as long as the videos stay up (which I would guess they'll stay up for a while since they are not breaking any TOS that I'm aware of)

What do you mean? I'm not talking about my niche. I'm talking about a method to drive traffic that is cheap, easy, and will last a long time.

Pretty cool. So no other promotion, buying comments, ratings, likes, whatever, and you still get YT traffic?

Yes, it is not a ton of traffic per video but because I'm focusing on alternative keywords and I believe that is what drives the success. Same concept with micro niche sites. You don't need tons of backlinks to rank for a low competition term, you basically just need the right keywords used on your site.

What are you trying to do? Spam? BTW Op how much do you spend on a single video including creation and promotion?

Ha, as SEOnetic said, five bucks. I'm not trying to do anything fancy here. These look like homemade testimonial videos and that is exactly what I want for this niche. People believe people, and testimonials can go a long way as long as the video looks real and not a paid ad.

    Did you rank the video?

If its the case, what did you do?

No, I did no do anything to rank the video. I simply focused on the the title and the tags and chose words that weren't competitive. Meaning, if my niche was "Used Cars for Sale" I would not use those keywords but similar stuff (i.e. using Google Keywords tool, Market Samuri).... so in this example I'd use one phrase like "Old Automobiles For Sale".
