Hey BHW, haven't posted here in probably over a year, but I have a new method that I really should share, especially since I've already created a better totally different method Mmk, so basically I have been creating Mac applications with a freeware called "fluid app" - basically it's an app for macs that allows you convert a website into a stand-alone app. You can even create your own custom app icon and it does not include the address bar or back button, making it extremely easy for one create a "fake" app. -Of course, you'll need the fluid app freeware to do this. -Start by making a web page that is 1000px by 700px(seems to be the default size for fluid apps) -Design a splash page for your "software" and/or a menu, make sure it looks like an app rather than a website, I use tumult hype HTML5 animator to achieve desired results. -When a user tries to interact with the software, have your CPA gateway pop up to "unlock" or "register" the software -Design an icon to make it realistic, fluid has a built in feature for adding icons -Publish your website, and enter the URL into fluid -You will be left we a .dmg file which any mac user can open like a regular application -Spread you file however you know how to I recommend doing this for obscure softwares, or for softwares that don't exist but would be really useful if they did. People are not going to fall for it if you try to tell them they are getting the adobe suit upon survey completion lol, so choose something else. Maybe a neflix downloader? I will not give any more of my ideas for what to do, but you get the idea. If you are looking for a CPA network with gateways you can use for this method, pm me.
