Ok, I know pretty much nothing about IM etc. but when I was looking through the forum I got any idea. It will hopefully make me some money soon, though I might need some peoples help.

1. Save a whole load of funny photos, maybe 30-40. If you need it there is a firefox add-on called DownThemAll which downloads all pictures on the page.

2. Make a blog on Blogger and call it something like funnypicturezherez or something along those lines.

3. Design the page nicely, be sure to add some AdSense.

4. Post all the photos into a new post. Make them large so you can read them easily.

5. Make an account on Imgur.

6. Post different comments on popular pictures. Try to make them funny so they get voted up. At the end of the comment, put Relevant funnypicturezherez.blogspot . co . uk/

7. Keep posting on at least 20 posts doing this.

8. Watch the views roll in!

I set this up earlier today and I already have over 1k views! If you don't believe me, or you want to check out how it is done my blog is funnypicsherezlol.blogspot . co . uk/ (Don't know if I am allowed to post this, its only to show you how it looks)

What I would like to know is any ideas on how to make more money out of this? If you visit the link you will see I have 3 adsense down the side but have had no clicks yet. 1300 views but no clicks? I was thinking maybe a pop up/under advert. Any ideas?

Enjoy the method.

I don't have any ideas of ways to monetize but I would be truly intrigued to know if you're able to!

[h=1]" Funny Pictures LOLZ <><><><><> CLICK AN AD TO SUPPORT US "[/h]Happy adsense BAN

What sort of things are you putting as comments?

I put anything really, depends on the photo. One was of a cute duck, I said 'it's been a while since I saw such a good looking duck face! Relevant:xxxxxx' Try to make it funny, they funnier it is the more votes it gets and the more exposure you get!

I can't help you with making money on this really, but offer a few ideas..

1) that pop up is annoying, takes too long to load.. anything like this immediately puts me off visiting a website for a second time lol.. i would remove this (unless it is making you money!)

2) Since your page is really long, could you make some kind of 'fixed' header with a banner ad, so one ad stays visible when someone scrolls the content

3) Instead of having every picture on the one page, split it into a couple of pages, with next, back, etc.. easy to navigate & keep people on your site, with more ads to be loaded..

4) make all images the same width.. takes a couple of seconds to resize them in photoshop, or any other tool..

5) as kelso pointed out, remove [h=1]''CLICK AN AD TO SUPPORT US''[/h]Good Luck!

1. Yeah I'm gonna do that, didn't realise it would take so long to load.

2. As I said, I'm a noob at this and have no idea how to do that lol, any pointers from anyone?

3. I know, I wanted to do that as well. Again, I don't know how I would do it though.

4. I'll do this when I have some time for sure.

5. Removed already. I was getting like 5 views a minute lol, I thought it might be worth leaving it there for an hour, seeing what happened.

Thanks for the help Cas!

I really need some help here, I can't work out how to get rid of the pop up. I have looked for the code but don't know which one it is

***EDIT***

Don't worry I think I found it :)

The pop up would definitely be better if it loaded faster..

I have never used blogspot/blogger so can you edit the html/css of your blog? if so just pm me with anything you want doing and when i get time i will help you out or point you in the right direction, probably wont need or want a fixed div at the top if you can split the images up into a couple of pages anyway :)

As for the [h=1]CLICK AN AD TO SUPPORT US[/h]seems daft you could be banned from adsense for that, but definitely not worth it lol

Also a biggie with adsense is to not use copyrighted photos if you don't give credit to their respective owners i.e. a link or something similar pointing back to them

Yeah you can change the html, and it has an easy drag and drop for positioning. Its also good because there's. 'Design' kind of page where you can adjust widths, choose templated, change fonts/colours etc. really easily.

Do you know how I would split the pages? I could make another post, but I doubt people would click it when you can see the whole thing anyway. Also it would make no difference to the length of the page.

I really appreicate the help by the way so thanks! And your offer is great, I will take you up on it if I ever need help :)

Instead of doing this on Blogger, the chance for it going viral would be better if you did it on Tumblr or on a facebook page.

Both are slightly harder to monetize but I think the traffic potential there is larger. i.e. Tumblr can get tonnes of reblogs and facebook obviously has likes and shares which increases exposure by alot.
