I'm going to show you how I was able to generate over 60k in revenue and score some big outsourcing contracts using a very simple method I came up with. I will not answer stupid questions about the method or go into step by step. It's simple enough as it is. Lastly, if you're going to be doing the reputation management thing, you have to know what the fuck you're doing. Getting paid depends entirely on how good you are at getting results.

Step 1. Go to the major review sites (RoR, Complaintwire, complaintsboard.com, etc)

Step 2. Do a search for your favorite reputation management company. The bigger they are, the more likely they have existing listings about them.

Step 3. Leave a comment on each listing you find offering the same service for free upfront. This is why it is important you are good at what you do. If you're one of those scam companies who can't provide results, this method isn't for you. Make sure you leave your email address in the comment so prospects can email you for more information. I have one gmail per niche I target.

Step 4. Watch the leads roll in. The leads you will get are primarily:

    1) People that have been scammed by these companies looking to vent and seeing your comment
    2) People doing research on these companies before they choose them. When they see your comment they will likely choose you because its zero risk.

Step 5. Work out the details, sign a contract, and close the deal. ABC!!! ALWAYS BE CLOSING!!!

Step 6. Do the fucking work. Get them results. If you can't get them results, you don't deserve to get paid. Simple.

Step 7. Get paid. I highly suggest you invoice them and get a physical check. ORM projects pay at least $5,000 each and you don't want to risk a chargeback at that amount if you don't already have existing high volume processing to dilute chargeback ratios in the event of a crisis.

Step 8. Work out a maintenance fee or upsell other products. Get referrals. Most of the time, these companies know other companies that need the service too.

    Side Note:
Think of ways to get exposure to these listings with your comment on them...picture yourself in the shoes of the prospects of the other company. What search terms will you use to find reviews? If these listings arent already on the front page(most of the time they will be due to authority of RoRs,CB,etc) but for the other times...... ;)

You can apply this method for SEO, hosting, etc. Use your brains and prosper ya bastards!

Awesome share. I love methods that require work...most people won't do it ;) Have you encountered any problems with not getting paid after your work has been completed?

None. Most of the clients I've signed on are larger companies who have already spent thousands per month with the "main" ORM companies. My package is a one off reasonable price so I have had zero problems getting paid.

Get them to sign an agreement if you have to. Most of the companies contacting you are trying to fix their reputations and are just tired of getting scammed and will pay gladly, provided you can deliver results.

Question, I've never done Step 5. (Work out the details, sign a contract). What type of contract do you use? I'm a bit of a noob about that kind of stuff.
