Meta Verified outside of New Zealand & Australia?

Hey folks,

Meta Verified (the coveted blue tick on IG and FB) is now available to purchase in NZ & Aus, there's a waitlist for the rest of the world. Since there's no fun in waiting... how do you think we could circumvent the geographic restriction?

For example for Twitter Blue a VPN set to New Zealand on a PC did the trick. Seems like the easy way does not cut it this time. According to the official Meta guide (https://about.meta.com/technologies/meta-verified ) any account based in those locations of someone 18+ with some basic things like a posting history should be eligible - so far I've tried using a VPN and switching the city I'm based in to NZ on Facebook, but to no avail on either PC or mobile.

More sophisticated ideas to circumvent it on an existing IG/FB account?

I'd like to know this as well. But it's possible that NZ/AUS issued credit card/personal ID will be required.
 
Some people on Twitter claim simply switching the VPN to Australia for a couple of hours while using the app normally made the Meta Verified option appear in Accounts Manager, though unclear if they were able to purchase. I'll update if I figure it out.
 
Any news on this seen a few people get verified outside some saying 3 days wait others saying its right away
 
Has anyone managed to do this? Would you be able to share some instructions on how you managed to change your location on Instagram so that you could access and purchase Meta Verified from outside

can be useful for social proof and increases reach. can be useful.
 
it cant really be used for increase reach tho since reach are based on ads, blue tick doesnt really do anything but makes sure you're the legit profile or business

Actually for small creators purchasing mega verified will increase reach as your account will be prioritised in search and explore.

but you would still need high quality videos or post for that to happen otherwise you might get a slight reach but engagement is what really it goes down to
