I am new to IM, and I keep seeing simple sounding guides glossing over a subject. Taxes. Where I live (U.S, Cali) if I earn $400 in income I must file taxes. I'm a hard worker, have been all my life. I used to frolic away my precious time with T.V/Games/Movies, but my family has come under extreme hard times and I really want to assist in any way I can. Right now I spend 14 hours a day working for them without pay, I got 4 hours free, and I would like to monetize that. There are no jobs locally, and so I need this. I unfortunately do not have "Tax idenification" and really don't want to have to deal with all this nonsense.

How can I avoid this issue, or is it completely unavoidable? Is there a list of Affiliates who don't ask for Tax identification?

If you don't deal with this "nonsense" you will learn a harsh lesson at some point...

I'm from the UK and so have no experience with this situation, however as Alpha said, this is probably going to be something that comes back and bites you in the ass if you don't sort it out from the start. If you have 14 hours a day free, why not take the time to sort this out..?

Just report your income. If you let this hold you back then you won't be making any money anyways

You should report your income to IRS. In other means you are breaking a law.
