Google still have the old description after 1 week. Why? I know it takes time but this long after I have resubmitted sitemap, fixed crawl errors, not used kw stuffing and used fetch with google bot then indexed.. Help! Perhaps building backlinks would help as it is a newish site.

This happened to me and I started to treat is as normal. The most I waited was around over two weeks, so no need to be worry, they just keep the old title/description for too much time sometimes.

Google takes almost 15 days to update your meta description. So be a little patient.
