As (I hope) you guys know, it's christmas time again! My parents are divorced, so I got to open half my presents tonight at my dads! Heres what I got:

Socks (thanks grandma)
gloves (again)
over-sized shirts (again)

and...

A FUCKING MAC-MINI! BOO YAH!

Me and my dad have always been mac-freaks. We love the tech and the products they make, but honestly, we've never been able to afford a mac computer. But my dad just got a raise, so he was able to buy me a refurbished mac mini, straight from apple. This thing is sooooo much better than the old tower we built and installed bootleg vista on.

Took maybe 2 minutes or less to get running. Just plug in, choose language, done. Has built in wifi and AMAZING graphics.

I was on the same boat with you, but then I realized that mac can run windows using virtual machine. I don't play any games really, but I still need my windows software occasionally =]

I'm not super techy, but I just don't understand the point of macs. Sure, their OS may be better than windows, but they're not compatible with a lot of stuff, they're extremely expensive compared to other computers, and the computers that are more expensive have way lower specs than other computers.

My friend does have one and it's nice, but not nice enough for me to fork over $2000 for it like he did.

Yup the Ganzfield Goggles produces the same effects on a lower and slower level.

Congrats on the Mac, getting a new piece of tech is always exciting.

I just dont understand the mac thing myself. I can get a PC with the same power and 1000x more software available for 1/2 the price.

My girlfriend has a mac and I hate working on it. She isnt too tech savvy so she has problems pretty often. I am pretty much a whiz on the PC but when she calls me in for help with her mac I am just lost on that thing. Call me crazy but I just dont see one benefit of being on a mac, and I see 1000 benefits of being on a PC.

I am so anti her having a mac that I got her a new PC for christmas. It may also be a way to get her to help me with some of my work now too I could never install any of my BH software on her Mac.

Sorry, not trying to hate on your xmas gift that you wanted so much, im sure in the right hands it can be a great machine. Enjoy it!

As far as my coolest gift I got a 1TB external HD. It pretty much blows my mind to have this much space. I remember creaming over 20GB years back, thinking "How could I ever fill that much space?" lol. Well now I have about 500 of my favorite TV episodes and 100 movies and I havent even dented the storage space. All of these files are accessible on my iphone through a program called "Orb Live". So basically I now have a 1000GB iphone Pretty badass.

I got a new digital camera, a bracelet, and some perfume.

It is 2:11 here and Im up like a little kid....lol. Merry Christmas everyone.
