I'm so trying this! Do you also happen to have Skype?
I dont have a credit card hopefully i can use a normal visa electron card
Really detailed solid tutorial. Might have to add the merch game to my business.
So in an earlier post, you mentioned that you didn't need to have a store on shopify. Is the lite package what you use? The 9 dollar plan? Also, do we pay the 2.9% + 0.30? You mentioned you only pay .25 for shopify, so I'm curious.
I am literally still in the trial plan as I set this all up the other day and am moving forward. I also mistyped, I meant .30. The 2.9% is a credit card transaction fee and since you are taking your payments on Amazon, this is not calculated into your fees.
Thanks for the quick reply. That 2.9% was making potential profits low lol.
1. I'm living in germany should I use amazon.de or amazon.com
2. I logged in into amazon sellers central it says "You don't have access to Seller Central yet." Do I have to pay the 39$ first ?
3. I don't have a credit card since it's not common in germany.
4. Tax information, do I need amerikan tax id?
great post, very interesting information
Great tutorial, I am really eager to start doing this, but I have some questions:
1. I have Amazon Affiliate account connected to Payoneer card. Will this work?
2. Do I need to have all my products niche related, or I can have any kind of T-shirts (for example: fitness, quotes, pets...). Are all my shirts organized in one shop, or not?
Fuxk ALL instagram related threads. This thread ROCK ! Thanks OP
Awesome guide, thanks for it. I will try this method asap.
Is it ok if I for starting I create an individual account seller on amazon to test it and if I make sells then I'll upgrade to a professional account?
You will need to use Amazon.com as the shopify integration and POD really only work together in the USA market right now. You will need to create a seller central account and yes you must pay the 40 dollar fee. You could use a payoneer card I THINK and I am not sure about the tax ID. Just take the tax quiz when you set up your account and it will walk you through everything step by step.
I think Payoneer will work but again, I am not 100% sure as I live in the USA. None of my stuff is related on Amazon. People do not really shop by brand, but by keywords so make sure your listings are very keyword rich WITHOUT spamming (against TOS).
You will need a professional account in order to do the method above. It is the only way it works with Shopify.
Everything is already saturated. The key point here is to get yourself out there to be seen by other people
As always, great read. Thanks for the share.
Do you still recommend uploading to teespring now that this method is available?
Have you ever sold products on Redbubble?
I already have a shopify store and am going to sell teeshirts in the same niche as my store. Do you recommend selling the tee shirts in the same store or creating a separate store for tee shirts?
for who is not in US, the tax is not a problem, you will have to follow the quiz, and as not us citizen and resident you will be provided with the right form to sign,
I have to wait for my payoneer to be loaded wit the 40usd, for now it dont get accepted, I think because there are not enough funds, work well in Merch by amazon tough, because you can only withdraw from there
@antichrist I'm wondering if you've ever encountered errors with Shopify, in saying that: Your Amazon Seller account has been deactivated?
I'm getting the following error:
Your Amazon seller account has been deactivated
This channel requires an active Amazon seller account. Please contact Amazon Support to reactivate your account.
Also, what are your thoughts on fan/concept art of characters from Games/Movies, do you know anyone who has used such designs to merchandise and if so,
have they ever run into legal issues, or are there ways to avoid such occurrences (besides not merchandising characters)?
Thank you in advance,
This is literally selling on Amazon that has revenues in the 100s of billions. Not saturated, not even close!
The teespring update (uploading to teespring and those shirts being moved to Amazon) has not actually happened yet. This is scheduled for next month. I will for sure be checking it out but at least with the method above I can have full control since everything is run through seller central. Meaning I can respond to reviews, run PPC if I want, input back end keywords for ranking purposes...
Redbubble is actually on my list of things to hire a VA to upload all my designs to. I know a few people who make OKAY money there, but the traffic is no where near Amazon unfortunately. As for shopify, I literally have not set up my store yet. So I have the shirts in the back end, but they are just being pushed to Amazon without a live store and that so far has worked perfectly fine. I think either or would work, just need a seller central account to hook it up to.
I had 1 or two people tell me about this that happened themselves and then in the morning it went away. I would say wait 24 hours or else pick up the phone and call Amazon like the promp says XD.
Thank you for your guide, sounds really profitable and easy.
How long does it take to start seeing profit?
Quick question, how do you get the background design image to match the shirt color?
Separate names with a comma.
