MegaVideo as of Nov. 2010

Hey guys,

I know this have been discussed a few times, but I can't find up-to-date information about it...

As of November 2010, do anyone knows if a MegaVideo account will most likely get banned if it's hosting copyrighted material? I'm not from US, but from Canada, and I guess there will be a lot of DMCA about my stuff when their copyright owner finds out about it.

Having all my points lost because a few of my vids get removed for copyright infringement would suck, so I just want to make sure there's still a chance to stay under the radar with this. I know a lot of sites (cinetube.es, etc) that are still hosting their copyrighted videos with MegaVideo, so why I couldn't?

I considered something like VideoWeed, but honestly, it stinks. NovaMov could be interesting, but I never heard about their ban habits yet.

Megavideo hosts videos offshore as far as I know, so the only bad thing is that you would have to reupload the video after it's removed due to a DMCA request. Just use random names for your videos like "hse2.3" for House 2x3 and things like that. They will last longer.

But don't take my word for it, because I'm not sure.

I just want to make sure that I don't risk anything extreme with them...

i've been earning with megavideo for more than a year right now and i have more than 10 accounts with them all with copyright files (tv shows,movies) and got no problem with it.. but megavideo reward system is crap right now unlike before february 2010.... now i'm only getting 1/8 of what i get before
