I met with a CPA at the beginning of June, and she was supposed to do my estimated taxes by June 15. I emailed my previous tax returns and my income and expenses for this year on June 12. I didn't hear anything back, so I emailed her again asking if she got my first email, and asking a couple business taxes questions. I never go a reply to that email either ... so I called the next day. She wasn't available, so I left a message. I never got a call back, so 2 days later I called again ... she was not available again. I got a call the next day from the CPA saying my estimated taxes would be ready soon, and that someone would call when the taxes were done.

Well, I never got a call back, and I never got my estimated taxes. I got an invoice yesterday, August 11 for $95. What should I do? I was going to call tomorrow morning and explain that I will not be paying, especially since I never got the estimated taxes.

Anyone have any other advice on that I can do?

Yes, do not pay the bill until she shows you your tax returns for 2011. She is not going to sue you for 95.00.

Was the bill itemized? Was it for the taxes or the initial consultation? Either way I probably wouldn't pay until I received the estimated taxes, since that was presumably the whole point of the consultation.
