That guy is the biggest closet dork I've ever seen. Who carries an unlit cigarette in their mouths when they don't even smoke?

    Thank you for posting that.
That just gave me a good idea for a tool to develop.

On another note - that guy is something else.

Not sure why you're calling them "virtual domains" as this is a crazy new futuristic term, but anyway... he got in at the right time. Right when the .com boom started. Great read. Thanks.

This guy is legend. Seems like quite the character too. He's earned at the very least half a billion from all the activities listed in that amazing article. A movie about him would be be a match for the Social Network if done right.

There's one line in this article that is more meaningful to me than any other:

"Mann went on to become one of the most aggressive domain speculators in a world that was - and still largely is - the digital Wild West."

Why? Because it doesn't have to do with Mann as much as it does with us. After all as enjoyable and amazing as this article is I'm not in the domain speculation business and don't intend to go there. However I realize we are "still largely in the digital Wild West" where fortunes can be made and fun can be had easier than almost any time in history. It's happening right now. The time it takes to complain about how it used to be and what no longer works is time wasted neglecting the many things on the forum that are still easy money. That's how I look at it.
