Yes that true, I needed like 3 min to solve the puzzle. But for people who can't think out of the box it will be hard.

That's one of those puzzles that can keep you confused for hours or you can get it quickly - depending on how you start.
Thank god it came to me in a couple of minutes, because they're the sort of puzzles that I can't leave alone until I get the answer.

This "puzzle" makes no fucking sense whatsoever.

The maths is not very complicated.
Without giving away too much, I figured it out by looking at the answers that were either 4 or 0 and working out the logic from there.

Stop doing maths. Could something else that occurs in some numbers but not others.

this is represent the hole in the number as you can see 0000 = 4
it's have 4 hole in the number while 2222 = 0

Ugh, I feel cheated. I would not have figured that out, I think I'm better wired to find patterns using mathematics, rather than the way the numbers actually look.

There is actually a pattern occurring in the numbers but not in that way you want. For me the test is actually to see if you are thinking out of the box.
