Mediavine making me crazy, How do I get accepted by them?

Hi,

I was checking out Mediavine requirements to accept my website for Ads, they said 50k sessions a month minimum, and while I was navigating the web, I saw websites with only 2k and 3k traffic (according to Ahrefs) has already having Ads from Mediavine, while I do have 39k traffic according to ahrefs too. but they don't accept me yet.

Any help what I could be missing here?

How much is your US traffic? Also, maybe your niche is not too desirable to them.

Interesting. Maybe they are sites ran by publishers who are already established with them, have already met the requirements with other web properties, and then got the "green light" to place ads on their smaller sites they're working to scale.

Ahrefs is not that accurate. Don't count on that number too much

Perhaps they get traffic through non-organic channels such as Pinterest or Facebook

I don't think that is the case here. They've mentioned it on their website that every website needs to go through the application process with a traffic of 50k sessions a month.

Chances are those websites are bringing in way more traffic than you think. Mediavine is quite strict. (And i dont think they have a program to let your lesser websites in easier).

Ahrefs traffic is sometimes TOO OFF!

I saw websites that had 15k traffic - but in reality had like 75k-80k pageviews a month

DO NOT rely on Ahrefs data lol

What does your traffic stats says in Google analytics? Mediavine asks Google analytics.

In terms of accuracy? They're both similar, they estimate. Generally, use them only to estimate numbers don't take them as a solid number.
