Me again about an ISP thing

Okay, I was permanently banned from this roleplay chat room right?

Now I know my ISP is diffirent but, what if someone tried to pose as me, to try and get me in trouble in the chat room?

Would they see the ISPS are diffierent, and the ISPS are diffierent? And report the ISP of the poser they think is me? Or the ISP ip address they perma banned which is me.

I dont think the the chatroom would know the diff if you just created another account as you should have a static ip address which changes if your not useing dail up that is.

I might not quite get your entire question, but will try to answer the best I can anyway. Every time you logged onto their site, they will at least have information about your IP address.

If you log in with one IP address normally, then suddenly they start seeing you logging in from a different IP address, it should be a reg flag to them that something is going on. Either you moved or somebody else is logging into your account from a different location.

As an example, I have a friend (really it is not me) who has been selling on egay for many years. He constantly logs in from his home to list his products. Normally, his IP address is the same. About a year ago, he decided to snipe his auctions.

Anyway, egay immediately flagged his account. Although he was using a different egay username and account, they could from their log tell it was from his IP address. Anyway, egay issued a 30 day ban and stripped him of his powerseller status for good.

He told me about it and claimed he knew nothing of this. Anyway, I explained how egay caught him using his IP address. He never understood anything about IP addresses. He was definitely busted.

I notice what concerns you is just IP's and role playing. No marketing I guess.. Spend a night in the proxie forum and read up on some of the ways to surf anonymously..

To answer your question. No. It's probably just you being a goon in the chat room.

I also doubt chat rooms get more specific other than knowing someones IP. Either way that's how they ban you or it's your username he is imitating..

Initially, I would say a six, until I heard they were spoofing you in a role playing chat room.

Then I am going with a seven. Of course, that was until I saw somebody following you. Oh sh1t, that was me following you.

Definitely a eight. But that was until I heard that somebody stole your car.

Well, maybe a nine. Yeah, yeah a nine. But that was before they broke into your house.

Now a ten without any doubt on my part. Definitely a ten.

What kind of question is that? We don't know how paranoid you are. You may be the most or least paranoid person on the entire forum for all I know.
