guys am just thinking. i have had business interactions with other members of this forum. i have even been scammed and others have been cautious to get into a biz deal cos of payment security. always one person has to take a leap of faith and trust and am thinking if there could be a kind of escrow service on bhw for a fee it will be a good thing. anyone second this?

Sounds like it could be good, but I'm sure there would be a way for clients to "cheat the system".

When I started on Elance I got scammed at least 3 different times by clients (they just sided with the buyer, even though I delivered the content and such).

Probably wouldn't be like that here, but you never know eh?

I have an auction website that i don't really use at the moment...with e-wallet/escrow system. That means only the admin can release the funds in case both parties gives the feedback..that everything was ok.I was thinking that i should put it into use..so the business could go with more trust and security.../so far i got scammed once also/.But the other thing...to really figure out that the deal was done..it is hard to tell.Beside i couldn't operate it for free...just thinking about hosting/ssl etc...it would be still a minimal fee. What do you think..should i put it into use for our BHW members?

Way too much liability and work for the forum.

Just use common sense. Don't fall for the "sounds too good to be true shit" and it's fine.

Seriously, read the SL...most of the times it is people buying from people that just signed up (with the intent to scam people) or outrageous claims like the autoblog ponzi scheme that promised to make crazy returns.

    Just use common sense.
