I really don't get it, when i land on some cpa page i automatically close that page, i have never submitted my email, phone number to any cpa offer nor did i ever filled in a survey list simply because i know all it will do is generate spam while you don't win shit.

And this was before i even knew how it all worked.

I really can't wrap my brain around it why people fall for these cpa offers.

Was checking out some macbook pro offer for research, i specifically selected email submit, then when i checked the landing page to see what the target audience would see i am confused.

On most pages it already states in small lettering that their personal info will be used for marketing but in my mind i read "your personal info will be used to spam the shit out of you"
Then after you submit an email you get bombarded with offers and at the end you have to fill in your phone nr and address.

As i said, i already quit when i land on a cpa page but i can't understand why people would go through that process and will mostly get spam out of it.

And ok, maybe you fall for it once but surely you learned your lesson afterwards, how is cpa not saturated?

So yeah, for some this might be a stupid question but i'm new to internet marketing and really want to understand the how and why.

    A. It is saturated. Heavily.
    B. With the internet in its prime right now, the age range of markets is vast. Kids, adults, the elderly all see CPA. Some know it's a scam and avoid it. Others know it's bullshit but couldn't live with themselves if they were wrong. Then some people just have no idea and submit their info.
    C. It's all about your market and knowing who you're marketing to.

Thank you for the answer. It is just hard to overcome the thought that in these times people still fall for it thus it feels hard to invest in it.

There is also incentive cpa. People submitting their info know that it may be fake, but they have been gamed and only need their reward.

Marketers still can find the right audience that would be interested in 'getting all the spam shit'
And don't forget that lots of people are just dumbo_O

You are not like the vast majority is. There are many people that fall for it and signup / buy!

Incentive based cpa will remain. There are a lot of people who want to watch movies online and are ready to give their email to site owner. Those who are clever enough give their trash email not the real one.

Hahaha ok, i will continue my journey then when it comes to cpa

Hmm, i guess you are right, i've been sitting behind the computer since a 286 tulip pc back in the 80's all the way till now, can't imagine a life without it, guess i am nerd when it comes to computers and forget most people are not like that.

You mean like for example, a netflix offer?

    Noted! :D

For some reason you made the inherent assumption that all CPA offers are incentive. That's far from the case.

Just because you can't imagine doing something doesn't mean that the 7 billion other people wouldn't do it.

Have been reading about it today but i can't find the proper word for it in my own language.

Can you give me a example of a non incentive offer?

    Understand the word "incentive":
"a thing that motivates or encourages someone to do something"

Thus an incentive CPA offer is one where the advertiser permits the publisher (you) to promote their offer by offering the visitor an incentive to complete the offer (eg. download a file).
An example would be an email submit, an app install etc.

A non incentive offer is the opposite.
These often pay more since the user will have to possess a genuine interest in the offer itself and thus naturally will be more rewarding to the advertiser.
An example would be an insurance lead.

It really depends on what type of target audiences are involved. Lots of CPA affiliates make money by targeting younger people such as gamers with hacks/cheats, the younger people are clueless and don't think twice about adding their mobile numbers, emails in order to get something they really want.

The non incentive stuff doesn't necessarily generate as much as incentive, although that's primarily used with paid traffic. CPA isn't going anywhere anytime soon, not whilst there's still idiots out there that are willing to do the above.
