Are they from a 3rd party? IF yes, then google has nothing to do with it, and yes its a good: why? because its better than nothing. Its just an extra 60$ in your acocunt.

    Wow, dude

Download a better theme for the blog (Prosense) to increase CTR. Secondly, maximise the money you get with adsense by searching this forum (couple legal methods posted).

PS: did you pick a saturated niche? You should always do research on Keywords and check Adsense competition, you can do all of this using google keyword tool (search google).

But yes take the 60/year, its just extra money.

Im making great money on text link ads and as long as you stick to following rules google will love you.
    1. Make shure that links and pages that you link to are related with your content.
    2. Use "site:domain name" in Google to check if the domain isnt banned in google.
Follow 1 and 2 and sell sell sell:)

Is there a way to find people without getting penalized by google? I heard textlinkads can be traced but am wondering about some of the get paid to blog post programs. Or how do you find people ?

Definitely take the money. I just sold a link on a PR2 blog of mine for $140 for the year. And, he contacted me and asked me for a link. I told him $15 per month, or a 20% discount if he pays for the entire year up front. He took the bait, I mean, the 20% discount!

well what these guys are doing is called placement marketing, what it means you are ranking good on some keywords and maybe they can't dominate the Google front page for that keyword so he puts an add on top sites for that keyword. find which keyword you are ranking awesome and sell some more of those links.

140$ is nothing, he is probably raking in the profits in CPA/Adsense offers from the traffic/rank you are giving him.

Just dont over do it. I had lots of paid text links on one of my sites a year or so ago and google came down hard on me. I let all the links expire and have since restored my ranking. Point is, dont add too many paid text links and try to seemlessly incorporate those links into your site.
