i saw on greencloudvps.com for massplanner optimized vps you can use for package of 27 10-40 accounts. So it is basically how strong you vps is.

Yes, I think this is all relative to the size and specs of the VPS...

MP Support says "we suggest a maximum of 250-300 accounts (depending on the activities you'll be running on the accounts) to get optimal software performance."

But I think if we're running a VPS with higher RAM, its possible to go beyond that without affecting optimal performance.

Whats the most anyone has ran simultaneously?

This is on spot . We impose not limit in MP, it all depends on your specs.

There is no limit imposed by the software, but generally around 500-1000 depending on what you're doing with each account and the specs of the vps, more that that it could start working slower. It also depends on the types of the account, due to the way each works, Ig accounts are 2-3 times lighter on resources than the rest of the platforms . Also at these many accounts ideally you'd go with a dedicates server and not a vps. If you want to use it with more accounts ideally you'd split it into several VPS/servers.

One last thing, due to the recent database change ( we moved most data on a database on your computer instead of keeping it loaded in RAM) it should work faster and also SSD now helps a lot instead of HDD.

Thanks for your response! Appreciate the input. I also notice the performance appears more RAM heavy than CPU. Is that correct? On my GreenCloud 6GB Ram + 6 Core CPU VPS, my CPU goes from 2-8% utilization, but the ram is usually at 20-40% utilization running 300 IG accounts (no other social platform is used). I'm guessing to add 200 accounts (500 IG Total) my VPS will need more RAM, and not more CPU - Is this a correct assumption?

I asked mass plannner support about a year ago not long after i started using it, they said about 300 each lisnce after you pay for the unlimited users thing, i've had about 90 - 120 twitters running all at the same time, but my mac pro that was running parralells for windoes to run MP kept over heating, so i ended up stopping using it for a while, but i have found that twitter over heats my mac but the other social networks seem to be ok im going to keep doing some testing with instagram, im growing instagram much quicker than twitter by the way

It must have been a huge machine. I tripled the specs of my VPS to double my accounts (to 600) and it ran like crap. I think 100 accounts is the sweet spot. If I had the time, I'd setup 5 cheap budget VPS machines running 100 accounts over. At the moment have 2 VPS's running 300 accts each

You can either bulk load all your posts from the cloud-drive (ie onedrive, dropbox, googledrive) at once, or can setup MassPlanner to continuously scan the location of your choice to pickup new content. This means you can upload a cool photo from your phone to onedrive, and MassPlanner will scan onedrive, pick it up and use it in the campaign.
