I just got this in my email inbox and it seems that my IQ is under 120 or this is just BS. Anyway, maybe someone in here wants to give it a try...

"They say that only people with an IQ over 120 are able to solve this problem"
[FONT=&quot]If:
2 + 3 = 10
7 + 2 = 63
6 + 5 = 66
8 + 4 = 96
Then how much is:
9 + 7 = ???

If anyone finds (or knows) the answer please enlighten me by posting here the result with some explanation.

2+3 = 10
10 = 2(2+3)

7+2 = 63
63 = 7(7+2)

6+5 = 66
66 = 6(6+5)

8+4 = 96
96 = 8(8+4)

9+7 = x
x = 9(9+7)
x = 144

IQ over 120 Is Bullshit. With a bit of common sense you can work it out

2+3=10 which means 2+3=5
5*2=10
7+2=63 7+2=9
9*7=63

now 9+7=? 9+7=16
16*9=144

Thats easier

Ya, I doubt that if you figure this out you have an IQ over 120.

I figured it out within 2-3 minutes.

All you gotta do is find out the pattern basically.

yeah pretty simple lol

think i did it in 23 seconds at most

2+3 = 5 - so you take the first number that is 2 and multiply it by the answer. so 2*5

Same for the rest using that formula. Very simple.

So 9+7 would be:

9+7 = 16
16*9 = 144

Thankyou and good night

Yes this is true. Buuuttt, when I looked at it first I think it was the way the problem is written out is what made it easy for me. The numbers just jumped outta the page. If the lines were jumbled up I think it would have been harder to spot!

144 - pretty easy to figure out. I doubt if a couple of questions like this are enough to test the IQ level of any individual. There are full fledged, 2 hours long IQ test available online, and whose results can be trusted to judge anyone's true IQ level.

This one was easy. But what about:

If 1+1=3
How much is 2+5?

Hi Cody.

If 1 + 1 = 3 then it must mean that 1 = 3-1 = 2 so 2 equals 1.
So we also add 2 to both sides and we get 1+1+2=4=3+2=5

So if 1+1 = 3 then 2+5 should be 6.

Is that right? lol
