part of the reason I can not stand paypal. Its worth the time to set up a merchant account and have people pay you that way and only send money to people that have merchant accounts. so if you are not happy with it you can dispute it and the other way around if they bought something from you they can dispute it.

if you are able to show you did the work the dispute would land with you if you cant then the dispute lands with them as well all know.

but with paypal most of everyone on here sends payment as services and well your going to have a hard road getting that money back.

If you want your money back, go to your bank and try giving them as much information as possible, I had to do a $500 chargeback on a small website I bought and it was a pain in the ass.

If you contact your CC issuer you can do a chargeback. Paypal won't have any say. Just tell them it was an unauthorized charge. I have dealt with intangible items via Paypal, and it doesnt matter if you send the money as a "gift". You can still get the money back if it's intangible and they have no proof of sending you what you paid for. But yeah, contact your card issuer, not Paypal. Good luck to you.
