I have recently got restricted on Facebook, and Facebook comes up the reason because I was bullying someone.
I talked to my friends and they said usually Facebook would not take any action when one person report, but when there are massive reports, they would take it down and restrict my account.
Is it true? What if someone hire someone to do massive reports (actually is that possible?)

I am just curious how the report works.

Facebook has systems in place to detect and address abusive behavior on their platform

Facebook will examine and evaluate each report to determine whether it violates their policies. Hiring someone to do large reports can have some impact, but Facebook has a system in place to detect and handle such cases. If Facebook discovers inaccurate or abusive reporting activity, they may take measures to protect your account.

Facebook has its own support department for these things. When they don't handle it for you, it means your evidence is not enough for them to help you solve it.

but i wonder when you bully someone and it gets your facebook account locked, it's a bit confusing, you can also file an appeal about this

Facebook will review those reports, if those reports consider violations they will be locked

When you report sth on Fb, they'll check it out. If it breaks their rules, the acc might be locked.

This could be your comments on public groups, other people's posts, and being reported by the post owner. This will force FB to intervene faster!

Thanks everyone. I am trying to appeal the decision from facebook. It is definitely someone doing massive reports on the posts that is not good for his assault action in public.

Massive reports may affect your account, but you can completely appeal and provide evidence. The support team always considers carefully before making a permanent decision. If you just gave a warning, you can stop using Facebook for a while to calm the feedback down.
FB usually only locks accounts in cases of extremely serious and obvious violations

Facebook review all the reports and they take action against the account if they see any kind of violation.

This can see a large number of accounts reporting to your Facebook. Before making a final decision, I think the Facebook team has also looked at the user's reporting status. You should complain. to be reviewed in terms of severity,

If your Facebook account really does not do anything that affects the community, you can completely ask the Facebook team to review it.

If your account has been restricted due to mass reporting, you can appeal the decision to Facebook. Follow the instructions provided by Facebook when you receive the notification about the restriction. Provide any relevant information that can help explain the situation and demonstrate that you did not violate any community standards
