My site has gone from number 3 to close to the last page. I don't think I've been penalized, but I did add the keyword again into the description recently. Could that cause such a massive drop?

My main page is near the bottom, but there are several other of my pages closer to the top. eg http://mysite.com/site where as http://mysite.com is at the bottom.

It is strange perhaps your word is not competitive. Try to add another

I would bet it is the new Panda algorithm that got you. Check it out google updated yet again.. LOL I think it will normalize with some decent keyword research.. Best of Luck!!

How old is the domain? :) What do your outbound links look like? Linking to good people?

It looks like a dance. The fact your pages are high is a good sign, you'll settle somewhere, where is what googles trying to figure out right now.Give it a few days\couple of weeks.

If you made a bulk backlinking campaign it can just be a "Google Dance".

In case you haven't done any recent linkbuilding then look at the content of your page.

It could be because of another update, could be just a little dance by the sexy Google :)

Keep backlinking, don't stop.

The worst thing you can ever do when your URL changes position, regardless of whether or not it's positive or negative, is stop backlinking.
