A friend of mine has reported a massive up-tick on public (and some private) PBN links in his network over the past two weeks roughly. I'm guessing somewhere around 30% and 50% de-indexation on him. After checking the (very large) pool of PBNs I track I also noticed a increase in those de-indexed, though nowhere near the ~50% of my colleague.

Have any of you also noticed a trend of deindexing of PBNs during this recent "mystery" G update? Are PBNs finally under attack or is this a coincidence?

Must have been a coincidence...
Nothing out of the ordinary on any of my sites...

My rate of de-indexing has been pretty much steady since August, across a sample size that is quite significant.

Nothing is happening at my end, My index ratio is steady it is 80% from September. Your colleague might left bad footprint, that's why his network got de-indexed

there were a slight update and some SERPS fluctuations yesterday but now again its normal.

Seems ther have been something going on during the last 2 weeks but nothing like a big algo update.

Nope, nothing here either. The service I'm with is still going strong and they've never had a site deindexed in the years I've been with them.

I do track other PBN's I've seen or have seen friends/competitors use and do see some deindexing there, however those networks and PBN's were incredibly exploited. Thus nothing new in terms of how they are deindexing sites.
