    Hi guys!

I've got a highly targeted mailing list which consists of about 15k emails. I don't have any experience in bulk mailing, but I want to try to promote some health products to the audience from the list.

I'm planning to send emails via Mail Chimp. Does it allow to use affiliate links in emails? How should I start?

Please, help me out. Any advice is highly appreciated.

Hi Sabo , You can use any email service provider to send out your offer with whatever link you use, but make sure the industry you are going to promote isnt on their banned list, for example ESPs hate Pharmacy, Gambling, Casino, Sports Betting, Adult and other bunch of offers or they will suspend your account straight away - but wait a minute, there are still people you can use their services to promote your offer and they dont care whatever industry you are working in...

try Fivver, Upword, or Freelancer to hire a bulk mailer and they will provide you access to their email marketing software, most of them are using IEM (interspire email marketer) where you can create a quick email campaing, upload your list and shoot it out.

lemme know if you still have any question in mind...

@Kingoo thanks so much for your reply!

Should I hide my affiliate link with TinyURL or any other url shortening service? I'm asking because I've read that ESP's hate affiliate links. On the other hand, some people say that short url in an email may drastically increase the chance of email being filtered. Maybe it's better to send email traffic directly to my own landing page without any affiliate links at all? I just want to make sure that my messages will make it to the inbox.

The ESP's always check whether the list is scraped or purchased, don't they? I didn't purchase the list nor scrape it. How do I prove that it's legit?

Well i dont think they ask every single client for such proof, when i was using mailchiml back in 2013 ( i have my own servers now) they didnk ask, while my lists were scrapped, they only want you to use your company details in footer (which you will put in the time of registration) but google can help you to find a random street address and put anything you like for the company name they dont come after you to check whether its a legit or not :) ,,, also its a good approach to use your landing page and send the traffic there, or you can use a Domain Redirection ,, e.g www.youranydomainname >> redirect to >> your affiliate link (just put a text on yourdomainname for example... REDIRECTING ... and give it a 2sec to redirect to your target page)

in very rare case even if they ask for the legitimacy of your list, just create a quick landing page with a form and show them you have been using this as a lead magnet (just make sure the domain name your are using for landing page is old enough to make it look more legit)

Every problem has a solution - you just need to think out of the box ... :)

When t comes to emailing in bulk, you can use any software to have it done. I have never come across the software that does not accept the links. You will always send your emails with the links that you want. I have also been using mailchip for some time and I will say that it is in deed a good software to work with. So do not be afraid, keep going.

I am also a newbie, does anyone have a rough price estimate on what it would cost to have someone send out roughly 20k emails?

The kind that can run from your desktop and does not require any third party integration. It turns your pc into a mail server from which you can send out emails.

I havent been much into mailing but i assume the most important problem with desktop mailers is the inboxing rates.

Anyway 20K is not a big number when it comes to mass mailing, there are service i think here on bhw that offer this, just search around.
