Nooby question, I know but can anyone advise me about linking to a brandnew website from 2x massive autoblogs?.

I created a website at work to target one of our niche areas and to get it indexed quicker created a footer link on 2x autoblogs that I own.

Both autoblogs have 10k+ pages each. The new website was indexed within an hour. The autoblogs generate maybe 20 new posts per hour on average each.

Will these links sandbox the site? I do this on a regular basis without issues but I will be removing the links this time as we can't associate with autoblogs due to the professional nature of the business and they were purely for getting indexed quicker (not an SEO business).

    Regards.

Theoretically, google would/should only really consider each domain as a single link, despite them being sitewides - in terms of rankings anyway. If you do decide to link to your site from these, choose the most relevant and perhaps authorative page if possible.

Sitewide links offer at best "1 links" worth of benefit, at worst a negative one.

    Hello,

I intended to remove. What I meant was do you think having them up for say 24hrs will cause damage?. It was to quickly get the website indexed.

I have the same problem. For some reason a popular forum decided to post my link sitewide, my backlink count went from 15 to 28,000, will this hurt my website?
