Apologies. I am looking for the thread talking about a tool that extracted mass keywords and did comp. analysis. The tool is expensive, like $200+. I searched and could not find it. Can someone please point it out.

Maybe you are looking for KSS, KeywordSuggestionScraper.com
Use it to search for a keyword, get alot of related kws and check the searches/month & G-competition.
 
There was a tool called KeywordSnatcher that was shared round here, pretty simple-easy to use.
