If I have a folder with let's say 5000 pictures and I want to delete all the pictures except the ones with resolution 1440x990 for example, how can I do this ? Is there any script or a program or something ? Manually it's horrible...
Have you tried distributing the files inside the folder based on therir discspace ussage (weigh) ? Maybe it would do it a little bit easier for you if you delete all the lighter ones, Try looking for the first image that is 1440x990 and delete anything lighter than that. It will do things a lot easier fr you. Cheers.
On windows do an advance search and specify the minimum size of the image files which you want to be deleted.
the trick with windows advanced search would have been awesome but i have pics which are PNG and those are way smaller so cant delete everything from a specific size...
Found how to solve the problem. If anyone else needs something like this go here: http://www.tothepc.com/archives/sort-images-by-size-resolution-aspect-ratio/ It's a small tool which moves images based on your resolution criteria to a new folder. Very nifty did the job nicely and fast.
