Hello Community ,
I'm relatively new here, so please don't lash out at me.
I have spent some time checking out all the offers on the Marketplace both for SEO packages and Linkbuilding offers
to check the most of the offers , to see their websites , check their ranks , traffic with , moz , ahrefs and semrush to see how well they are helping them self in terms of seo.
i have picked some like sarkar , luckydigitals
i could not find a single one with with good performance. does this mean they are so busy helping others that they don't have time for their own project?)

There many types of links sold in the marketplace. I would categorize into 3 main groups
- Packages, which are probably the ones you are mostly talking about
- PBNs
- Specific links, guest posts mainly (also include PR, and all that)

The thing here, is that for the first 2 you don't have barely any control. For the last one, is the most time intensive, because you will have to pick cautiously from lists users may provide, hence they can be the potentially most powerful

Between the first two, the difference is obvious: the first one is just a weird potpourri of links that you could be doing in your spare time, but they take it to do them by themselves, without any curation or anything like that. No cherrypicking at all. It's the wrong way of doing things, on a budget (but I've seen many marketplace offers for this, are they are not a budget anymore). PBN are different, because except for those shitty ones that are basically covert packages (they are theorically selling 10 links on a one-time payment, which is basically the same as many of those packages), the real ones will be asking you for a monthly payment, which means, you can pay one month and stop paying the next, if you feel the pbns they are using with you are not worth the money, which brings you to the first point: ultimately it will imply time on yourself, like the specific links, and they can potentially be as powerful.

This said, like always, this is a money/time equation. If you dedicate a low amount of time and you pay a low amount of money you are going to get shit links. Packages in this forum seem to seel well, and have a lot of comments, because there are tons of non-SEO experts, that come to this forum with a pair of Udemy courses and just go to the easy. And there are sellers that know that their links are not the best out there, but profit from this scenario. It's up to the client to take more time and learn (which in fact means putting more money into the equation, in the form of money), or hiring someone with more expertise, to curate better this job (which is also more money)

So definitely, I would say that 50% of the packages (or even more), without a solid linkbuilding strategy behind, are well-marketed pacifiers, if not worse.

I can offer some general insights on the topic.

First, it's important to note that SEO is a complex and ever-evolving field. There are no guarantees when it comes to improving search engine rankings, and anyone who claims to have a guaranteed solution is likely making false promises.

Second, link building is an important part of SEO, but it's not the only factor that determines search engine rankings. Other factors, such as the quality of the content on your website and the relevance of your website to the search query, are also important.

That being said, there are legitimate SEO packages and link building services available on BHW that can help improve your search engine rankings. However, it's important to do your research and choose a reputable provider that uses ethical and effective tactics.

On the other hand, there are also scams and ineffective SEO packages and link building services out there. It's important to be wary of any provider that makes bold promises without providing a clear explanation of their methods or results.

Also, it's important to approach them with a realistic mindset and choose reputable providers. Good Luck!

I would not be buying links here (or any other marketplace for that matter) because the sellers don't care about your site as you do, most links you buy are useless and could even end up hurting your site, there is no way to check that, reputation says nothing and that can easily be faked, and the only way to test it is to use them.

Personally, I would not take that risk with the sites that matter to me, maybe you have some throwaway sites that you can test this on, but that means spending a lot of money.

If I was you I would learn and understand the basics of link building and go from there, the chance that you hurt your site with these vendor links is high, but if you like to take a change... ;)

I wouldn’t call them a scam since they usually deliver what they’re offering. They offer to build a few hundred Web 2.0 type backlinks using spun content and that’s exactly what they deliver.

If you truly believe that building free Web 2.0 links is going to help you rank and you want to outsource, these services are great.

Unfortunately, there‘s very little chance that these links will actually help you rank anything.

As far as ranking their own sites goes, ranking for SEO related terms is brutally competitive so they may not be interested in targeting them organically. I wouldn‘t consider that to be an indicator of quality.

Since you’re new, I recommend focusing on keyword research first. You can find a lot of low competition keywords in any niche that won’t need links to rank. Publish a few hundred articles and grow your traffic first.

Don’t bother with links till your site has 10K pageviews a month. After that, you can use links to scale.

Not a scam, but ineffective. Whilst cheap, money thrown away nonetheless. I can only speak for services I've seen. There are always exceptions.

Let's take PBN backlinks from the BHW marketplace. Most of them aren't private but public, which is why're so cheap. Those get you penalized quickly and most of the time won't even do much. Build your own PBN or find someone that is doing that specifically for you.

Sincerely,
The Data Scientist

What do you mean by pacifier regarding seo? You lost me there...

Not exactly.

You're not going to rank just by buying various link packages. You need to either reinforce the links you're buying or buy those links for your tier 1 backlinks that you already have.

I do not judge the sellers performance on the basis of his/ her own site. There could be many reasons why their sites metrics are low. May be their site is new but they are old providers. May be they did not pay attention to their own site and rather focused building a marketplace profile because the real business is going to come from the marketplace.

To see the quality of the sellers service you can always check their old reviews, see how old their BST have been and how people have rated them overall.

Lastly, never think that buying one package or handful of links from BHW will take your site to the top of SERPs. Keep your expectations realistic so that you will be knowing what you are getting in return.
