    Hi all,

Been looking for this and for the most part it looks like I missed the boat. Essentially I would love to be able to grab the FB Emails of say all the people that Likes Competitor A's FB page, then pay to target FB Ads towards them or invite them to like my FB Page.

Is this even possible anymore ? From what I've read you can still scrape the @facebook.com emails but there's not much you can do with them? Help would be greatly appreciated. Do I need to hire someone for this?

    Thanks!

You can use AnyGrowth to scrape the ids along with the emails - and pretty much any other info you want - and then create the audience from that. I think you have to pay for AnyGrowth though.

I just did it for work. It works pretty good.

Thanks! I'll check out AnyGrowth. When you say create Audiences? Is that specifically for advertising to? Is that done here:

So that you can advertise directly to them by using their @facebook email? Or how can I invite them via FB?

I like your use of gifs!

Yep that's for strictly advertising. When you create a custom audience, it will serve the ad to those people. I usually get the best results when I create a txt or csv file with only the Facebook emails and IDs per row.

I don't think Facebook will let you invite them directly anymore (in the past you could use invite.php), but you can take that same list and upload it so that Facebook will suggest it to them. You do that by going to your page, clicking the three dots button on your cover page, and selecting Suggest Page. Then you can upload that same file.

Thanks @visnet , I have tried doing this with no success. I just get a message saying Facebook was only able to match 0% to the custom audience..

I tried emails and it failed, I'm trying user IDs now instead by choosing the Mobile Advertisers ID option in the drop down to see if it works with the IDs I scraped.

Not sure why it's failing instantly when I put in the emails? I'm following the one email per line format. All the emails are @facebook.com emails. Would appreciate help.
    Thanks!

Hmm, you scraped them with Anygrowth?

Not sure what's going wrong, but you should be able to use the facebook emails for pretty much anything. Maybe try exporting them as a csv file and then uploading that way?

Here are the results of scraping and trying custom audiences, looks like Facebook patched it?

The top one is using emails and the bottom two are using UIDs,

this method is not working anymore. @facebook.com email is useless now. you need their real email address to create custom audience.

Does it work now? I thought Facebook has changed the algorithms to ban all email scraping bots. I'm not sure though..
