I need a new career bad. I tried web design and that didn't workout. forget about writing articles.

anyone know of any other online skills that are in demand, but can be learned in one or two months?

What do you like to do? How much are you looking to earn? If all you need is $300/month you can be a VA and do data entry. If you want to earn $x,xxx /month it will probably take more than 30 days of "learning" in order to achieve this. I'd suggest you learn how to code. Bots, websites, apps... the possibilities are endless.

Local ranking strategies can be learned relatively quick, and this is a skill that will always be in demand by digital marketing companies and local businesses.

You can start here and move on to Miriam Ellis' articles on moz and her own forum.

Learn how to rank local companies, and start your own business. You can sell info products, services on BHW and other websites, etc...

Only problem is, 1-2 months might not be enough to see if what you've learned has actually converted because Google can be slow on picking up citations and local ranks.

You can learn to build an email list and start ad swappin' for a living.

Become a social media expert. Learn all that there is to the madness of #hastags. Social media wizards will be in high demand for awhile, I can imagine.

    Good luck.

As KraftyKyle suggested, coding is an awesome skill to have. More and more jobs are requiring skills in computer science. It is the way of the future. It is better to learn it now rather than never!

Also, look into learning about conversion/performance optimization. Become skilled with split testing and improving the conversion rates of campaigns. Companies are always looking to get 'bang' for their buck and they always need to hire someone who knows just how to do that! :)

Learn android programming and app development. It is a hot skill in demand these days as many small companies want to have their own app. You can learn this skill relatively quickly.

I think you give up too easily, Having a skil and then being able to sell it are totally different things

Pick something you like doing and stick with it,
