Market Samurai Problem

anybody getting this error lately?

Market Samurai is having trouble retrieving the information requested.

Please try setting connection speed in settings.

this is the full version that i purchased. it does this on both my desktop and laptop from different locations. so i don't think it has anything to do with connex speeds, and i have messed with them. the only solution i received from them is the only i have tried. does anybody else have something to try to get rid of this?

Those are normal when you consider that the actual machines that were used to test the prototypes of this program were really high-end machines and the fastest net connections. I think their programmers used those settings to produce those fantastic results, but were unaware that almost all their users would not be able to procure such top-quality equipments... When you also use their built-in proxies, the flow really crawls and goes to sleep many times.

Hey, Download Proxy2.zip below and unzip it to:

Code:

C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Roaming\MarketSamurai[HEX]\Local Store

If you're using XP

Code:

C:\Documents And Settings\<your_username>\Application Data\MarketSamurai[HEX]\Local Store

***NOTE: Go to Control Panel > Folder Options > View (tab) > Chose Show Hidden files, folders and drives > Check "Hide protected operating system files" if you don't see the path I mentioned above.

thanks, i'm gonna try that if the problems pops up again. i just downloaded the new update and it looks like that took care of the problem.

Where is the proxy2.zip file? I am having this same problem, I can't get search data.
