Hey everyone, who would you trust Market samurai or google keyword tool, because their amount of search results don't match at all. I mean market samurai says that for one keyword it gets almost 400 searches daily when google says it only gets 2 thousand searches a month? WTF? What you do? Please advise..

    1. Are you using a registered paid version or a cracked/nulled version of MS?

    2. Are you sure the KW Match type is the same in both tools?

I have always found MS to be pretty damn accurate all the time. There are a couple slight discrepancies occasionally, but they are very minor and very rare. Nothing on the level you are describing.

I found somebody else writing about the same problem on the market samurai blog. He said that when he tried to retreive the data related to a certain word, it wouldn't be the same as google keyword tool. He was a non us member i believe.

I'd advice you to stick with adwords keyword tool.

I've checked many times and always found MS to be pretty accurate. Never had issues with it.

There were some recent problems due to the latest Google changes to their search engine, but the new update resolved all the issues that I am aware of.

I believe MS works directly with Google's KW tool and a few other of Google's tool which is why it's accuracy so good.

No issues on my side. Works perfectly well (and in sync with google's kw tool data). Maybe you're using a cracked version, in which case MS recently had an update to make it compatible with google's new algo.

i am running a crack of 85.9 full and get weird results with my backlinks not showing exactly what it shows on yahoo where it seems to get them.

    Sometimes higher sometimes lower.

Google rank is sometimes off but this is standard with all rank checking software

Since these problems with it not telling me my correct amount of backlinks I moved to traffic travis. Just wish it had a simple screen of showing the backlinks rather than loading them all but as a full analysis. But cant really moan and getting better information.

Dont think I had this problem when I was running a earlyer version which is stange...

Cant say I find much use for the keyword research tool I prefer google or wordtracker. Dont like the new google keyword tool layout though :(

By the way my 2 cents that Google Keywords result is an hype of the actual search

You actually are running an outdated version, this one doesn't work properly anymore, there us an update, I think it's the .42 ?? and it works good.

To the people having problems with the results not matching, try changing the proxies in MS to the ones from your area, you'd be amazed how well the results match :)
