I posted this in the Facebook section earlier but had no response yet so hoped a few different people may see it here and have a say.

Basically you all know you can buy Facebook fans but the problem is most the time they wont be real and certainly wont be targeted to your niche.

Do you think people would be interested in paying slightly more and waiting slightly longer to get real and targeted fans for their page?

I can assure you that businesses will pay for that. Every business wants fake at first because they see the number rise and that makes them happy :), but when there is no conversion the get sad :). (Sorry for the way I said that, just felt like doing it). However, with targeted audiences you get interaction and most likely increase conversion based on viral spread of shares and likes. So my answer to you would be yes. Yes they would, but you will need a strong pitch to get purchases. People (I mean clients) still don't understand why you can't just buy the likes.

There is a HUGE market for this. I have clients asking me daily for real targeted FB likes. And from what I can tell FB PPC ads is the only guaranteed way to do this, but can be extremely expensive.

    Thanks for the input guys!

The 2 posts above both seemed to talk about offline businesses. Guess the people who buy likes to build page to promote products online would be just as interested?

As mentioned above and how I have always seen it, you get a big number of fans but they wont convert!

Yes, online business could also get conversion. I wrote about offline clients because that is what I deal with on a day to day basis. Online clients would also benefit, but with online clients you might end up running into affiliates, which when you are trying to sell your product can be a pain (take up too much time trying to pry a commission from you). (Not to say i don't like affiliates).

I've found that for some niches it is easy to get likes to pages ie hot girls but for other it's not so easy!

The time required to put into offering people page promotion would result in costs that would put people off.

May just build a big niche page and then promo my own news pages off that and sell them!
