Unless you're in one of the following countries
  • Iran
  • North Korea
  • Syria
  • Cuba
  • Crimea
  • USA and its territories
Look for the alert box at top of binance
"Want a sneak peek at the new binance.com?"

Then open new binance, which looks exactly like their desktop version (yes, they have a desktop version). Then in upper left, click 'Exchange' and then 'Advanced'.

Then click on MARGIN tab in lower right.

From here, you can open a margin account. Exciting times. I can't wait to see the wreckage.

That's awesome but it says it's for invited users only. Any ideas on that?

Currently only for big players, with 7+ figure accounts. Over time, I'm sure they will open it up to lower players. Probably still working out bugs and to see how well they (Binance) does from a revenue standpoint, on this type of trading option.

Total leverage is 2x, and there are 8 pairs you can margin trade on. This will undoubtedly grow over time.

Why is the US so darn strict?? Like I've seen people make money off of crypto and get arrested like it's a crime to be rich?

Because most financial investment vehicles are so complicated, probably 90% of US consumers can't fully understand what they're getting into. Combined with the huge population of gullible, less educated (in ways of investing) citizens looking for ways to get rich fast. This is why ponzi schemes are so successful.

Despite what people think about the gov controlling their lives, the US gov does not want to see a bankrupt society. Just look at any third world country where the majority of citizens are bankrupt to see how that turns out.

Get out of here. I'm not trying to hear that. you have people on the street and people getting accepted for jobs. Many people were getting rich from crypto and it's a free country. Those regulations was just so poor people couldn't get rich.

If people are that dumb, crypto should be in classrooms.

But if you think that banning it was for the people's good. That's mistaken. Crypto is something nobody can control. Many universities have already implemented teaching it in classrooms. 5 years from now, every university will have a crypto course

What you don't understand its about blockchain.Blockchain means its fully transparent and doesn't need trust as it has contracts.
It also means full control over people who will be forced to use blockchains in their everyday life as everything is transparent and that there can be a society build based on trustless contracts.
The second part maybe sounds good but it won't be used in a good way.

Also that crypto is being now in all media has its reason. The first offical g20 governmental coins are coming out next year.
After that many many conflicts will arise.

People unable to see the correlation of events in the whole world.
Why do you for example think india banned the 500 rupee bill ?Money limitation in western countries, crypto hype, push of a recession etc.......
Its the change of the GLOBAL monetary system into a virtual one getting GBP,YEN,AUD,CHF kicked out of world reserve fund.
People just don't get the full picture.

But many wont work and also there is something called supply.
cryptocurrency cannot be controlled.

Says who ?
Get majority of mining power or most stake and you control nearly all blockchains offered on CMC.

Also who cares about supply.
All major points like energy, food, living room, transportation etc are controled by the elite.
You have no other choice than accepting their offer.

But coins get delisted all the time. If cryptocurrency gets controlled. That would be mind blowing and I'd be impressed
