Hey guys, I'm reading through a lot of the questions here on the CPA forum and especially from new guys who want to know how to earn money in the CPA game. I'd like to just point out that some guys get a bit lost in the term CPA and the many methods and platforms that are around. The truth is, we can find endless methods and platforms to promote offers but keep in mind that what you are going to offer is speaking to a specific audience. And I would like to underline "audience" here because its one of the most crucial factors to your success. This is what all marketing essentially is, connecting the offer to an audience and then persuade them into action. So if you want to succeed big-time you need to understand where this audience is hanging out on the web, at what time, what else they are interested in, how they are thinking and what language do they speak.. What I am saying is, you need to be able to see the world through their eyes. Once you find the answers to this, you have the right material to pitch them and persuade them into the action that you desire. Don't start with just thinking "YouTube" or "Facebook". These are only platforms. They are great platforms when they are used correctly and when you know how to use them. Many guys will start a CPA Facebook campaign, they get everything right until they actually have to target the right audience and create the ad. They see their campaigns failing and then they say that "Facebook with CPA is dead" or "YouTube + CPA is dead". These are very ignorant statements. It's like saying "Ads on TV are dead" while we know that all commercial television can only exist from ads. So, this is the part where you want to spend your time and keep testing various ads until you have one that is successful and bringing in the leads. Successful marketers will always test ads and even when they came up with a great one, they will maintain and try to compete with their previous ones. They do this so consistently that they start to see the patterns and learning the psychology behind ads and how they work related to their niches. They will start to develop a natural understanding for ads that are going to do well. So if you are new to CPA, I recommend you to learn everything about the basics of marketing first; meaning study audience and demographics. Then start to learn about creating good ads so that you know how to speak to your audience and persuading them into opting in or buying a product. The key thing is to speak to your audience on a personal level. Phrases such as "Dear reader" are not targeted at all and the reader won't feel very connected. This is just one simple example of a mistake that is being made over and over and there are tons more. So if you are starting out with CPA, get these things right first and think about persuasion, study what that means. Its crucial to understand it because it will become easier for you to come up with "twists" once you master the basics. It's pure marketing. For those of you who are longer in the game and take this for the obvious, there is still room to improve. Some of the worlds best marketers do 3 months worth of research and preparations before they make that big predator move. But once they hit, its going to be that million dollar + campaign. Then you will hear the stories of how the first million was made in the first 24 hours after the product launch, but nobody will tell you that there were months before that in preparation. So another key element here is that you don't fall into that trap of being distracted by everything and all the noise that is out there. If you fall into that trap, your plan will change from day to day and you will end up with nothing. Concentration is key so eliminate distraction as much as you can. Just think big, stay open-minded and keep pushing and testing! Good luck to everyone!
