Hello, if the site www.xyz.com has on the homepage many external links to other sites, is it bat for www.xyz.com ranking and SERP increase or it's doesn't matter?

In the homepage of www.xyz.com only the webmaster can add/remove those links/banners etc. If www.xyz.com will put all the external links as nofollow will it help www.xyz.com in SERP and PR increase?

Or it is indifferent for that site?

Many outbound links on any site may harm you in serp. You may avoid by making those links no follow.

So if the external links on my site are nofollow they won't harm my site?

It shouldn't but perhaps it depends on the amount of external links you have. If you have a few then probably no hard, if you have many then I believe it could be harmful.

Ok, cool, I have around 15 backlinks... not sure if they are a lot or few... but I made all of them nofollow.

    Thank you

15 external backlinks isn't too many but good call making them all nofollow. One of my sites is a Google PR5 and the homepage has 25 external links. As long as they are relevant and not linked to "bad neighborhoods" you will be fine.

I agree. The reciprocity of outbound to inbound links that are relative may look as a quality signal to G provided they are of the same general genre.

I my mind that would give the site some authority juice.
