Today has been absolutely devastating for me, but maybe this will help others, and maybe you all can help me out.

I have about 10 affiliate sites that all have 100% unique, high quality, hand written content. Today I woke up, and they HAVE ALL been deindexed and given this penalty

Two of these sites have no affiliate links at all. ZERO. Just a dozen or so helpful guides. The only commonality that they all have is that they are connected with webmaster tools.

That's what a monopoly can do. Raise awareness about Google's control of the WWW is all you can do.

Now your site burn, get another one, churn it. Rinse, repeat. That's how we survive.

Nah man. 10 sites with hundreds of pages of content and many with zero link building. Fuck that. I can't even begin to pick up the pieces until I know what happened. I have two sites with zero backlinks and zero affiliate links that got hit that are a month old. Think I'm going to build a new site if I don't even know if I can escape the sandbox before it gets burned again?

Sorry to hear that. Happened to me once when all of my 16 MNS sites with 10 plus posts were deindexed the same day. The sites were not connected to any webmaster tools but all my sites were hosted in the same hosting account having the same IP. May be that must have left some foot print or something. So now I always host my sites in different hosting accounts. Making sure not to leave all the eggs in one basket.

No affiliate links doesn't mean high quality content. The fact that your sites don't contain affiliate links doesn't mean your content is useful. But if you think your content is truly informative and helpful, you can submit a reconsideration request.

Taking into account what you say it looks like your website is pretty much whitehat with unique content and the only thing that put things above the radar are the affiliate links which you posted too frequently in my oppinion. It looks like your website was detected by G bots as potentially not worth much due to the affiliate links.

On your place , I would ask for a review , maybe it's just automated action by G bots.

Give it a try, you have nothing to loose.

Yeah, it is truly informative and helpful. Like I said though, they applied site wide manual penalties on every single one of my sites.

Yep, that is what I was getting at. Always heard google webmaster tools was safe to use and you could connect, what a load of crap, just something for people to keep in mind in the future.

I host on same ip as well. They will give you a manual hit on all of your sites if you use same hosting company? So you have to use a different hosting company for every single one of your sites?

I forgot to ask, have you written the content by yourself or outsourced it ?

Have you checked using copyscape the uniqueness of your website ?

I've done both. The sites that I wrote all myself got manual penalties as well as the sites that I outsourced.

OP - "hand written" quality content in one persons eyes is completely different from what real quality content is.

Feel free to PM me a site and I will give you an honest opinion about the content quality.

Yes I was cloaking. Two sites had no affiliate links and were penalized as well however
