Surprising move? Would like to hear your guys opinions

if they had to fire him , they should have done it in December itself . Tough I believe even SAF would have struggled , but would have been in top 4 . This is a ageing squad .

It was bound to happen he just couldnt fill fergies shoes next most likely manager that will be good fornunited would be van gaal hes got more balls the moyes as well loll

Would be something is Fergiee does a come back, but overall we need a strong leader like Brandon Rogers, only the second season he's with them and look what he has done, now that guy has some balls :)

Our Brendan's a hero and an Irish man too :D I doubt Fergie is coming back to be fair.

*Update: David Moyes has been offered another job already! The Great Britain Tobogganing Team have said they have been looking for years for someone who can push a team downhill at that sort of speed.

I agree, they're not buying any young players. What the fuck do people expect?

Well I think united should give him sometimes to adapt. Some people says that Moyes have no managerial quality because he run the same squad as SAF who win the league title. But still, It was just his first season. Who knows he will improve just like Brendan Rogers at Liverpool this season.

Some good points mentioned here and to think he signed a 6 year contact when he first started lol

I don't think it was a good move, should have done it when all games are played but they still have games in hand or after 1 more season at least. Also they expected instant results which is not fair on Moyes because firstly it took Fergie some time before he could win some silverware for United, also the players aren't playing like how we know they usually play. Not all blame must be shifted on Moyes, as a United supporter i really hope next season is ours.

as a Forest supporter im biased i dont think they gave him enough time
i do think he made a big mistake removing the backbone of the backroom staff

fergie trained van persie lightly and got a good season return, moyes did not
train van persie the same way look what happened out half the season.

summer buys where poor afro head is no united player and still yet to score
mata hes class but yet to find his feet.

defence is aging badly, rio well past his best vidic isnt the player he was
evra still not half bad, but the team lacked good signings last year which didnt help

add to that i think they just gave up, heads where down.
