It is always recommened to use different proxies for setting up and managing your sites. Would it be enough to get a good VPN (and change the IP everytime I am working on a different site) or do I need to have a private proxie for each of my sites?

Do you really need a proxy for it. I mean if you don't use google products, browser, toolbar, how would it know. Although there are lots of script libraries, analytics that come from google so may be it uses them to track you as well.

Well, on the one hand spending 2$ per month for a quality private proxy should be very reasonable considering it might save your site. ON the other hand, if you have dozens of sites (i dont, but thats the plan) then it becomes 50$+ per month for something which may not be really necessary.

I dont use G products, but still want to be very cautious with footprints. So imo atleast a VPS is a must.

you don't need a proxy/vpn when managing your own website hosted at your hosting, from who you will be hiding, yourself maybe?? :)

I think you mean VPN, not VPS.

If you aren't using any Google tools then I don't see the sense in this.

If you are that paranoid then just use different hosts and buy each domain from separate companies.

But even then it is a little over the top unless you are trying to build a PBN.

You can often purchase dedicated IP's when you have a VPS. I use dedicated IPs for a few of my sites. For example my money site has it's own IP, and then I have few blogs that promote my money site that have diffrent IPs so that it's not obvious to Google or whoever might be looking that they are run by the same person. I don't know why you would use a proxy for website, you have less control and you'd have to update DNS everytime a proxy is closed or changed.

I don't think it matters what registrar you use to purchase the domain. After all registrars like Godaddy have 100's of millions of websites that are registered with them. Its not like Google is going to assume that all Godaddy domains belong to the same person. I would however suggest doing private registrations and using dedicated IPs for your money site.
