I just got a set of 10 semi-private proxies for the first time, and I'm already thinking there must be a better way to handle them.

First off, I'm using BuzzBundle, and while it allows me to enter them and put into rotation for scraping, the format wasn't quite right and they all had to be entered manually. Well, since the proxies are replaced monthly, this is a regular task that will need performing.

Second, I'm using firefox, and installed foxyproxy to manage them, but I need to switch them manually as I don't see a way to connect them automatically to certain personas (on Reddit, for instance).

Overall, I see there are individual bot apps that have a particular way of managing proxies, but I'm wondering if there's some bigger picture I"m missing about how to handle them overall.

Also, two are dead within 48 hours of purchase though I have done next to nothing with them. Is this normal?

Not normal but it does happen. Sometimes my proxies die after a few hours of purchase.

Contact the seller and ask them to replace it.
