Been up since Friday night straight working on these damn Blogger Autoblogs. I got a bug on Friday and said what the hell, let me buy some Blogger accounts just as an experiment. I got a good price for 100 accounts, so I told the India people to make it 400 instead. Looking back on it, 100 probably would have been enough for now, but what the hell.

I have just about every possible tool, script and customized shit you could possibly think of, but this Blogger thing is a real pain in the ass. First off, yeah anything will work on 3 or 4 or 20 blogs, but I need something scalable. So I ran load tests on different dedicated hosts I have seeing which scripts could handle fetching and parsing 100 feeds, 200 feeds, 300 feeds, and ultimately 400 feeds. Had to use a mixture of about 20 different feed sources, morphs, etc. But it seems I can do this with a mix of Blogs Automater, Pipes, Mail2blog, Blog Auto Poster, and some other custom things for my own personal things, like rewrite and stripping.

If I post anymore than 3 or 4 posts to any one blog on the same day from straight RSS, the blog is flagged, not the account (which surprises me) but the blog only. However, doesn't seem to be the same spam alerts triggered when using mail2blog posting. Who knows, maybe I got lucky or will wake up with every single blog gone tomorrow :)

The real pain in the ass is the mindless chimpanzee leg work I have to do now, like setting up Adsense on each one, chaning the ad, setting up Amazon, changing passwords and email address notification emails so the person who created the accounts can't go back in and steal my shit. Someone said to outsource the settings and all, not for me, I don't want anyone knowing my Adsense info and stuff, I dont trust anyone. Anyway, will be reporting what happens as I go further, for anyone that is curious. As usual BHW is great source for all kinds of info and software, hands down the best, not even close. Bought Scrapebox for the hell of it last night too, been checking that out.

have you tried blogslammer? I'm trying to get it to work but something's screwed up.
I'm thinking of doing something similar since I have a bunch of useless google accounts since they suspended my youtubes. I'm thinking I'll just scrape some content and then post it with imacros... shouldn't be too hard.

Okay, I take it back, I don't have every tool lol, I should know better than to say something general like that, there are a zillion tools. Actually, no I haven't even heard of Blogslammer, but I will be sure to look for it after I get done here. Yeah scrape, but you might as well use full text, since I think the partial shit trips up Google's spam filters. I can't prove this and am not sure on it, just something tells me it does.

Also, just a note to anyone who is planning to use Blogs Automater to manage a billion autoblogs. The program is good, I know because I bought it like a year ago. The only thing is, you have to create a new campaign for each and every blog you want to post to. SO if you have 400 jogger blobs, you have to create 400 cotton pissin campaigns. No big deal though, only takes about 14 months to do it working 36 hours a day :)
