If you're "not feeling it" but have to write something, don't try to write a complete, coherent article one sentence at a time. Just start typing some thoughts loosely related to the subject. Avoid anything that you can't write in a phrase--no complete sentences. When you get 10 or 20 of these, then go back through and kind of reorganize them in a way that makes sense. For example, find groups of phrases that go together, and put them together under another phrase that describes them. You're looking for 3-5 groups of phrases.
Usually, by the time that I get done with this, I'm cranking and you can't stop me. Other times, I set that aside and do something else a while and come back. Later, when you're coming back to what is essentially an outline, the hill doesn't seem so tall. Grab one of the groups of phrases and start fleshing it out into a coherent paragraph. Most times you will end up completing the entire article.
Good luck!
