    Hey WHAT UP!

I just bought this website off of flippa for selling youtube views for $20 bucks.

I had the domain name pushed to godaddy, and have the hosting from hostgator called the baby plan.

I went to godaddy and set the name servers to Hostgator.

Then I created a new folder in my hostgator account and uploaded the data package from the website seller that they sent me.

Now I get this when I type in my domain.

    Index of /

Apache Server at ytultimate.com Port 80

So then the seller told me to do this:

    1) setup a clean install of wordpress. You can install it using Fantastico.
    2) replace the wp-content folder with the one I sent to you (must overwrite or replace the existing folder)
    3) import the database. this one might be triky
** go to phpMyAdmin for the cpanel
** click on the database name that you created during wordpress installation.
** click "Check All". From the dropdown menu, choose "drop". Then click "Go" button
** you should be see something like this "Your SQL query has been executed successfully"
** Now click on "Import" tab menu. Browse the sql database file I sent to you and upload it.
    I hope this works.

But when I use fanastico and set up the new wordpress I get stopped with another error msg about the mysql password is wrong.

Im just pissed off, almost willing to have someone walk me through it and pay them.

Let me know if you guys have any ideas on what I should do. I really want to practice SEO on my new site.

    THanks

Do you get the MySQL error when doing the fantastico install or after completing the 3 steps the previous owner sent you? If fantasico is giving you that error then you may have to contact support. If it happens somewhere else, let me know where and I might have some ideas.

You might want to delete the file URLs out of your original post. You just gave everyone the files you paid for without us having to pay for them haha.

I always find it better to do a fully clean and manual install of Wordpress by uploading the files rather than using Fantastico, but maybe that's just my developer side shining through.

Your fantastico sets up the new Wordpress with another database password. Do a clean install of Wordpress without fantastico and it should be ok. Start here http://wordpress.org/download/
